![]() ![]() Supplies are limited so feel free to bring your own natural wool yarn to dye. From mild to wild colorways, we invite you to start your summer off creatively with hand yarn dying. Welcome to our new series of summer yarn art programs! For our kick-off event we will feature yarn dying in the parking lot. Proceeds benefit the SSF Community Learning Center. Join us at Molloy’s Tavern for the 38th Annual Chili Cookoff! This is a family fun event, all ages are welcome to attend, there will be music, prizes and, of course, plenty of CHILI! The South San Francisco library will feature several special events including a presentation from the de Young exhibit detailing the movement and the city where “Flower Power” began. To celebrate the occasion, the city will host a number of events including an ongoing exhibit of the exuberant graphics and other ephemera at the de Young Museum highlighting the spirit of the 60’s.
